About this file

This is a pricing schedule (Schedule B) for Request for Proposal No. 260000002668 issued by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for Emergency Environmental Cleanup and Remediation services in the Grand Region on an as-needed basis. The contract encompasses two primary service categories: full emergency environmental cleanup and remediation for typical incidents involving fuel spills of approximately 200 gallons of diesel fuel requiring immediate response within 2 hours, removal of 500 cubic yards of contaminated soil, and restoration with topsoil and seeding (estimated 2 occurrences per year); and emergency cleanup and remediation for medical waste and biohazard spills involving approximately five 55-gallon drums requiring immediate response within 2 hours and proper disposal (estimated 1 occurrence per year). Contractors must submit pricing in a modifiable format (Microsoft Word or Excel) with the option to provide an additional non-modifiable format submission. Failure to complete the pricing schedule as requested may result in proposal disqualification.

The pricing schedule requires bidders to provide per-occurrence pricing for each service line item, and proposals must include all costs associated with service delivery, including one-time charges, set-up fees, and any ancillary costs such as shipping and handling. Contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment discount terms by specifying a percentage discount off the invoice if paid within a designated number of days after invoice receipt, excluding processing time. The contractor must certify that prices were developed independently without consultation or agreement with competing contractors. The estimated contract term is three years with pricing calculations required for both one-year and three-year totals.
