About this file

This is Addendum #2 to RFP-25-15 issued by the Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) in Florida on November 4, 2025, for Solid Waste Collection Services. The addendum modifies the original bidding documents for the solicitation to select qualified and cost-effective contractors to provide solid waste collection services for all CPA-operated buildings and properties. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by addendum number and date on their bid form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification. The addendum supersedes, amends, clarifies, and adds to conditions in the original bidding documents and must be coordinated with all related trades and disciplines.

The addendum contains substantive modifications to the general specifications and terms and conditions of the original RFP. Specifically, it revises the definition of Recyclable Materials to include uncoated corrugated cardboard, uncoated paperboard, newspaper, office paper, magazines, glass jars and bottles, aluminum and steel cans, scrap metals, PET plastic bottles marked #1, and HDPE plastic bottles marked #2, as well as any other materials designated by CPA and acceptable at regional recycling facilities. Additionally, the addendum adds a new requirement that respondents agree to Public Assistance Federal Grant Funded Contract Requirements (FEMA) 2025 Terms and Conditions provided as Exhibit C by submitting a proposal. The addendum includes a revised Price Proposal Form and was released via VendorLink as a 23-page document including attachments.
