About this file

This is Amendment #4 to RFP 2027-2000-0046 issued by the State of Alaska Department of Corrections, Division of Administrative Services, in partnership with the Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health, regarding Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Services at Wildwood Correctional Center (WCC) in Kenai, Alaska. The amendment addresses frequently asked questions from potential offerors regarding regulatory approval processes and timelines. Key procedural clarifications include confirmation that the 7 AAC 70.030 department approval process is conducted by the Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health, and that interested offerors should direct inquiries regarding timeline and procedures to that office rather than the Department of Corrections. The amendment specifies that data reporting requirements for DOC are arranged through the contract as outlined in Section 3.06 of the RFP.

The amendment clarifies that the 7 AAC 70.030 department approval process may begin during the proposal period rather than waiting until after contract award, enabling prospective vendors to initiate contact with the Department of Health, Division of Behavioral Health, immediately to begin the approval process. Offerors are advised that the Department of Corrections does not have a designated contact with DOH DBH and therefore cannot facilitate direct introductions. A signed acknowledgment of this amendment must be returned with all proposals; failure to do so may result in proposal rejection. All other terms and conditions of the original RFP remain unchanged.
