About this file
This document is a response to clarifying questions regarding Request for Proposals (RFP) #2024-03 for Janitorial Services issued by CareOregon, a healthcare organization located in Portland, Oregon. The RFP is for janitorial services at two of CareOregon's buildings in the Portland metropolitan area - 315 SW Fifth Avenue and 205 Place. The contract term is for three years with an optional two-year renewal. The RFP provides details on the floor plans, building occupancy, restroom counts, and other specifics about the facilities. It also clarifies that the fees are fixed for the initial three-year term, and that contractors may request a price increase if the optional renewal is exercised.
The document also states that certifications such as ISSA basic and advanced custodial tech, and floor care certification are preferred, but not required. It confirms that carpet maintenance and steam cleaning are required services. Lastly, it notes that CareOregon has moved two tasks at the 315 Building from monthly to weekly - washing ground floor exterior windows and power washing the brick courtyard and sidewalks.
