About this file
This document is a response to clarifying questions for Request for Proposals (RFP) #2024-03 for Janitorial Services issued by CareOregon, a healthcare organization located in Portland, Oregon. The RFP is for janitorial services at two of CareOregon's buildings in the Portland metropolitan area, one of which is approximately 89,000 square feet and the other is 1,650 square feet. The response provides clarification on several topics, including the lack of a payment or performance bond requirement, the number of restrooms at each location, and the provision of consumable items by CareOregon.
Regarding pricing, CareOregon chooses not to share the incumbent service provider's pricing or a not-to-exceed budget for the contract. The response also indicates that an Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) license is not required to submit a proposal, and that CareOregon will not disclose whether the current incumbent provider is a union.
