About this file

This is Addendum 1 to RFP 173-25019 for Cumberland County Schools' 3-Year K-12 Math Curriculum Adoption. The addendum makes two key modifications to the original RFP: it adjusts the contract period to cover school years 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028 (changed from the original period that started in 2024-2025), and clarifies that the selected vendor will provide K-12 core instructional materials in mathematics that support district academic goals, align with state standards, and engage students in rigorous learning. The materials must be comprehensive, research-based, and user-friendly for teachers and students, while meeting the needs of all learners including those with special needs, English language learners, and students requiring enrichment opportunities.

The addendum removes Section 16 regarding Electronic Procurement, specifically eliminating the requirement for successful bidders to pay a 1.75% transaction fee on purchase orders issued through the statewide E-Procurement service. This change removes all NC eP fees from the procurement process.
