About this file

This is an addendum document from Cumberland County Schools Academic Services in Fayetteville, NC, providing questions and answers for RFP 173-22006 regarding E-Learning: 6-12 Digital Curriculum. The district is seeking a centralized online credit recovery and first-time credit course program for middle and high school students that supports all subject areas. The program must include test prep tools and provide instruction through virtual modules that can function independently of a teacher. The district plans to use a mix of both district and vendor teachers to serve approximately 3,000 high school students who need credit recovery or initial credit courses.

The district's goal is to select a single vendor, though multiple vendors may be considered if necessary. The program will need to accommodate a variable number of homebound students based on health needs throughout the year. K-5 students will be served separately by district teachers. This addendum is dated May 2021 and serves to clarify various aspects of the original RFP, focusing primarily on implementation scope and staffing requirements rather than specific pricing or funding details.
