About this file

This is a pricing proposal submittal sheet for RFP 1100 MMH3044, issued by a Texas city with Melita Harden serving as the Procurement Specialist. The solicitation requests insulation and heat trace services for two primary process areas: Sand Hill Energy Center (Category 1) with seven line items ranging from 3/4-inch to 24-inch pipe sizes and lengths from 3 to 25 feet, and Decker (Category 2) with four line items ranging from 1.5-inch to 24-inch pipe sizes and lengths from 5 to 15 feet. All work involves removing and replacing calcium silicate insulation on various piping systems with operating temperatures between 224°F and 863°F, with several items requiring heat trace installation or replacement using either Self-Regulating Medium Temperature cable or Mineral Insulated Heating Cable. The total contract value across both categories is currently listed as zero, indicating that pricing has not yet been submitted by bidders. The city reserves the right to make multiple awards based on individual line items, groups of items, cost, or any combination deemed advantageous.

Pricing submissions must include all discounts, handling, shipping charges, and be FOB Destination, with costs including insulation where applicable. Bidders may submit pricing for all items or only specific items as desired. A bid of zero will be interpreted as a no-charge item, while "no bid" indicates the responder declines to bid on that item. The city does not guarantee purchase of the listed quantities, which are provided as annual estimates based on historical usage. Additionally, contractors must establish markup percentages for tool and equipment rental based on the Rental Rate Blue Book and for materials, supplies, and parts based on actual invoices from suppliers or subcontractors. Failure to respond to each section of the bid sheet may result in disqualification.
