About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Submit a Proposal (Attachment N) for Request for Proposal (RFP) #10891 issued by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), specifically for a residential program in the South Region. The solicitation seeks a 24-bed moderate-risk residential program for male youth aged 13-18, located at 3090 Powerline Road in Pompano Beach, with a focus on providing Substance Abuse Treatment Overlay Services (SAOS) and Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS). Prospective providers are required to submit a completed Notice of Intent form to the DJJ Bureau of Contracts by the specified deadline, with technical assistance available from Bryant Wombles.
The program requires comprehensive services including innovative delinquency programming and treatment interventions, with the Department allowing flexibility in bed allocation based on treatment service needs. The Notice of Intent form must be submitted both electronically to the DJJ Bid Library and as a hard copy to Mavis Brown, Procurement Manager, at the provided address in Tallahassee. While specific pricing details are not included in this document, the broader RFP suggests a fixed-price arrangement with per diem rates and potential financial considerations based on bed occupancy and service delivery. Respondents will need to demonstrate capability in providing specialized residential services for at-risk male youth, with a comprehensive approach to treatment and rehabilitation.
