About this file

This document contains detailed salient characteristics and specifications for RFID tags that must be compatible with SmarTrack Digital Asset Tracking Software. The tags must fit on various assets including firearms, firearm accessories, non-lethal weapons, and magazines without impeding functionality, with standard dimensions of 5mm x 5mm x 3mm unless otherwise required.

The procurement includes four types of RFID tags with specific quantities: 3,500 blank metal tags for Zebra ZT411 printer, 12,000 pre-printed serialized metal tags (500 per roll, 4 rolls per case), 2,750 blue plastic zip tie tags, and 2,500 HD SlimFlex UHF yellow tags with barcodes. The tags must operate at frequencies of 13.56 MHZ and 865-868 MHZ (ETSI)/902-928 MHZ (FCC), featuring various chip types (ICODE SLIX, Higgs 3, M750) with reading distances up to 18 feet. The tags must withstand harsh environmental conditions including exposure to chemicals, temperatures from -58°F to 185°F, and meet IP68 water resistance standards. They must comply with ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3, NFC Type V, EPC C1G2, and RAIN standards.
