About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for CAC reader door locks capabilities survey issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center. The RFI seeks to determine if companies have door locks compatible with Johnson Controls' proprietary P2000 software installed in buildings at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB). The government intends to establish a Best Purchase Agreement (BPA) that will likely be a sole source contract with Johnson Controls, Inc., based on the specific proprietary software and hardware components required.
Key details include a response deadline of May 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST, with responses to be submitted via email to Alycia Carter and Andrea McLendon. Respondents must provide clear evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. The RFI emphasizes that no proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in responses, and the government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in future solicitations. This is not a competitive proposal request, and any resulting solicitation will be announced on SAM.gov.
