About this file
This document contains questions and answers for an RFI (Request for Information) regarding CAC Reader Door Locks Capabilities Survey. The document outlines three key technical specification inquiries about a potential door lock system: (1) The customer is seeking an RFID door lock solution with magnetic locks, (2) The system will be a hard-wired solution drawing electricity from the building with battery backup, and (3) The specific voltage requirement for the hard-wired solution is currently unknown. The RFI is associated with the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center and aims to determine if any companies can provide door locks that can interface with the existing JCI P2000 software installed in buildings at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB).

• The system would draw electricity from the building, with a battery back-up.
