About this file
The document is a Request for Information (RFI-25-03) issued by the City of DeLand, Florida, seeking potential providers for an Employee Health Clinic. The RFI aims to gauge market interest in providing comprehensive health services for approximately 708 employees, dependents, and retirees. The requested services include acute/episodic care, new employee onboarding, primary and preventive care, chronic condition management, lab and pathology services, lifestyle management, prescription dispensing, claims integration, limited occupational health services, and care coordination. Responses are due by 2:00 PM on June 3, 2025, with requirements for two paper copies and an electronic PDF file. The city currently leases a clinic space at 750 W. Plymouth Ave., Suite B, DeLand, FL 32720, with a lease in place until September 30, 2029, and has maintained an onsite clinic with My Health Onsite since 2010.
The current medical carrier is Florida Healthcare Plans (FHCP), offering three health plans with varying monthly rates. The existing clinic demonstrates a strong wellness culture, achieving a 93% utilization rate. Respondents must comply with E-Verify requirements and provisions related to scrutinized contractors. While no specific budget range is stated, the comprehensive nature of services suggests a significant potential contract value. The RFI requires detailed information from potential providers, including firm history, public sector experience, staffing methods, reporting capabilities, relevant licenses and certifications, and professional references. Interested firms should be prepared to demonstrate expertise in managing employee health clinics, with a proven track record of delivering integrated healthcare services in a public sector environment.
