About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to conduct market research for potential airboat suppliers. The RFI seeks capabilities and rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing for an airboat, trailer, spare parts, in-country reactivation services, and in-country training services, with a focus on small businesses under NAICS code 336612 (Boat Building).
The RFI requires vendors to complete a detailed questionnaire addressing specific technical capabilities, including ABYC requirements, boat launch/recovery capabilities, hull design maturity, service life expectations, and warranty coverage. Vendors must indicate their ability to meet requirements such as providing a spares list, acquiring a compliant trailer, and performing reactivation and training services. The response is voluntary, with submissions due via email to the Contract Specialist Kerri Dolezal, and is strictly for market research purposes with no guarantee of future solicitation. Notably, vendors are instructed to exclude shipping and travel costs from their ROM pricing, as the government will handle those expenses separately.
