About this file

This file is a Request for Information (RFI) questions template designed for market research purposes related to the Information Technology Refresh Program (ITRP) ILS Maintenance opportunity issued by the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The RFI solicits responses from vendors regarding their capability to provide maintenance and support services for Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment, including both large-scale and small-scale systems. Respondents are required to provide business information (company name, UEI, CAGE code, GSA contract number, and points of contact), identify their business size classification, and select applicable socio-economic categories such as women-owned, veteran-owned, or HUBZone certified status.

The template requests detailed information on vendors' technical capabilities, including experience with corrective maintenance on NII equipment, preventive maintenance track records, and ability to provide stakeholder reporting with key performance indicators and dashboards. Vendors must confirm whether they can perform all required services per the draft requirements document, estimate subcontracting needs, and identify the timeline required from award notification to performance start. The RFI also asks vendors to recommend applicable business practices, Service Level Agreements, and additional resources or systems that should be leveraged. Respondents are asked to confirm alignment with NAICS code 811219 and Product Service code J058, identify relevant GSA or government contracts held, and optionally submit up to three past performance references demonstrating experience on similar-sized and complex contracts. The submission allows for vendor feedback and questions regarding the requirement and draft documentation.
