About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Request (SSR) instructions document issued by the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), for the ILS Maintenance pre-solicitation opportunity. The RFI is for informational and market research purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a formal solicitation, RFP, or IFB. No reimbursement will be provided for response costs, and no questions will be addressed during this phase.

CBP seeks information regarding systems administration and maintenance services for numerous technology systems deployed across U.S. and international locations supporting border protection operations. The requirement centers on supporting a 24/7 Maintenance Dispatch Center (MDC) that responds to service calls from CBP sites and records maintenance requests in CBP databases, specifically ServiceNow and MAXIMO (Integrated Logistics Support System). The MDC issues requests for repair and maintenance services across the enterprise. This pre-solicitation phase is designed to gather market intelligence on contractor capabilities and availability to support these ongoing maintenance and systems administration functions. Interested vendors should prepare to respond to future formal solicitation documentation as it develops.
