About this file

This document contains questions from a contractor regarding an asbestos abatement project. The questions seek clarification on whether abatement can be completed in one phase, whether the VA has an on-site storage location for furniture, whether the contractor or VA will perform air monitoring, responsibilities for removing other office supplies prior to work, storage options for materials, whether the mastic contains asbestos, requests for the asbestos report and required permits, dumpster location, and construction entrance and exit. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs to repair damaged flooring at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks facility in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
