About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the 502D Air Base Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland for Commercial Internet & Wi-Fi Services. The government is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of providing wireless and landline commercial internet services at JBSA-Lackland Library, with the contractor being responsible for all trailer maintenance, circuit testing, troubleshooting, and heat mapping to determine wireless access point coverage.

The RFI falls under NAICS code 517112 (Wireless Telecommunications Carriers) and requires responses by February 14, 2025, at 15:00 CST, submitted to Eric Brittine in MS Word or Adobe PDF format. The contract structure includes a base year plus four option years. Interested contractors must provide information about their small business status, socio-economic designations, UEI number, SAM.gov registration, SPRS registration, and whether pricing is GSA schedule or open market. The government emphasizes that this RFI is strictly voluntary and not a request for quote, with all responses to be used for technical and acquisition planning purposes.
