About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the State of Michigan Department of Lottery seeking custom off-the-shelf information system solutions to manage licensing and enforcement activities for various gaming entities. The RFI, designated as RFI 275 19*17, was issued on April 1, 2019, with a deadline to submit questions by April 15, 2019, and a response deadline of May 13, 2019. The system is intended to support comprehensive functions including remote access, data acceptance through multiple channels, audit trails, mass correspondence generation, electronic form submissions, online payments, and integration with existing accounting systems like Great Plains.

The RFI outlines detailed system requirements including remote accessibility, configurability, GIS capabilities, search functions, inventory management tools, inspection and compliance program support, and performance measures focused on timeframe adherence, quality, reliability, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness. Vendors are requested to provide extensive information about their organization, including company details, contact information, prior experience, organizational structure, mission statement, development processes, and potential compensation models. The State's primary goal is to gather market information to understand best practices and potentially develop a future Request for Proposals (RFP) for an information system that meets their specific licensing and enforcement needs.
