About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) 19*17 from the Michigan Lottery Department seeking information about a potential Lottery Information System. The RFI aims to explore available solutions for a new information system that would support approximately 30,000 external users and 50+ internal users, with potential integration requirements and functionality including mobile field apps, website/portal access, and remote capabilities. The department indicates they plan to issue a formal RFP within 6 months and are currently using an in-house developed application running on Microsoft Windows.

The Michigan Lottery is open to Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions and is currently using Microsoft Office 365. They are interested in exploring system capabilities for licensing, enforcement, and regulatory activities for gaming retailers, organizations, and charity games. The department has confirmed funding is allocated, though specific sources were not detailed. They do not anticipate needing external professional consulting services and prefer a stand-alone solution. The technical contact for this RFI is Lucy Kish, who can be reached at (517) 335-5683 or Kish1@michigan.gov. Vendors are advised that proposal submissions must be made through SIGMA, not via email, and that some meetings may require in-person attendance while others can be conducted via phone.
