About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Washington State University (WSU) seeking input from the relevant business community on a menu and inventory management solution for Dining Services. The objectives of the RFI are to learn about the field of vendors, understand how to ensure any resulting competitive solicitation is tailored to the services required, and establish appropriate minimum qualifications and relevant experience criteria for vendors. The RFI provides important dates, including the posting date of September 19, 2024, the question and answer period from October 3, 2024, and the deadline for submitting responses on October 18, 2024. The RFI also outlines the information WSU is seeking, such as the respondent's experience working with college and university dining services, available integrations and interfaces, reporting capabilities, hardware requirements, data security, pricing structures, support services, and implementation timelines.

The RFI is open to all interested parties, and responses will become public records subject to disclosure. WSU does not guarantee that a solicitation will be issued as a result of this RFI, and not responding does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be posted on the Washington Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) website, and it is the potential bidders' responsibility to register and monitor the site.
