About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the General Services Administration (GSA) on behalf of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, dated February 12, 2026. The RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, commitment, or promise of contract award. The Government seeks information to determine the adequacy of competition and whether two or more capable small businesses can support a small business set-aside. The primary requirement covers various Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), which may include in-country training for commercial items. The specific product identified is a Pipe Bending Machine (manufacturer/part number DSCRJHTB991102) with a quantity of 13 units and National Stock Number (NSN) 3441014842569. The anticipated NAICS code is 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing). Deliveries are required to multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. The RFI will be followed by a Request for Quote (RFQ), anticipated to be posted via GSA eBuy or SAM.gov.
Responses are limited to five pages and must include company information, GSA contract numbers, socioeconomic status, capability descriptions, relevant experience, and teaming/subcontracting plans. Respondents must answer twelve specific questions addressing required information for RFQ preparation, contract type experience, capability constraints, quote preparation timelines, production capacity, alternative IPE specifications, and interest in industry calls. The Government will not reimburse response costs, and responses will not be returned. GSA points of contact are Theodore Bonwit (Contract Specialist, theodore.bonwit@gsa.gov) and Collette Scott (Contracting Officer, collette.scott@gsa.gov). Responses are due on or before the RFI close date, which is not specified in the document.
