About this file
This document contains responses to a Request for Information and details for a related federal contract opportunity. The Request for Information responses provide replacement specifications for solar panels, inverters, and roofing materials due to certain original products no longer being available. The responses also clarify that conduit runs and directional boring will be determined on-site, and that roof life cycles will not impact the proposed solar system. The related federal contract opportunity is to install renewable energy systems on Virgin Islands buildings. It specifies the solicitation and contract numbers, describes the scope as installing solar photovoltaic and battery storage systems, provides proposal submission instructions, and names the Department of the Army Michigan Army National Guard as the contracting agency.

4 Building 100 and 107 what type of roof membrane, manufacturer, warranty, and age of roof
5 Enphase inverters are single phase 120/240, PV system is tying in to a 3 phase 120/208
6 Who is responsible for determining location of underground conduit runs
Can we use directional boring for underground wire runs?
Solar system will be on roof for 25yrs and roofs may have to be replaced if they are near the end of their life cycle?
Offeror can recommend a similar or equivalent solar system.
PV coponents including panels and inverters must meet the Buy America Act
