If you enter Babcock Hall through the Food Science (east) entrance, take the stairs or elevator to floor 2 for the CDR office suite and conference room or to the basement level and walk toward the red tile wall to the west end, to enter our training center, atrium, apps lab and auditorium.
Visitor Parking:
All parking on campus requires a permit. There is no public or visitor parking in Lot 40, the lot surrounding Babcock Hall.
The green shaded areas on the map indicate surface parking lots. Pre-purchased visitor parking tags are required to park in these lots (see link below). The parking areas indicated on the map with a ‘P’ have visitor parking, first come first served. The closest ramp with visitor parking spots is Lot 36 (Observatory Drive Ramp); you will drive into the lot off
Observatory Drive and exit the opposite direction on foot onto Linden Drive facing Babcock Hall. You will enter the ramp, take a ticket, and pay at departure.
Other public parking options near Babcock Hall: Lot 67 (Linden Drive Ramp), Lot 27 (Nancy Nicholas Garage), Lot 20
Ramp, Lot 17 (Engineering Drive Ramp) and Lot 80 (Union South Garage).
This online parking map identifies live spots available in each lot and can link you to directions directly to selected lot.
