About this file

This document is Amendment #3 for Request for Bid (RFB) 2025-UWMSN-00852, issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for CDR Pilot Plant Equipment Preventative Maintenance, Parts, and Process Equipment Modifications. The amendment provides a comprehensive Questions and Answers document clarifying details about the bid opportunity. Vendors are instructed to log into ShopUW+ and recertify their bids if they submitted prior to this amendment, with the requirement to make any necessary edits before resubmission.

The amendment reveals that the equipment involved is a combination of new, custom-made, and reinstalled equipment from an old building. Bidders can choose which items they want to bid on and must carefully review the Itemized Bid List (IBL). The scope includes multiple categories of support such as preventative maintenance, equipment modification, urgent and non-urgent repairs. Once the contract is in place, no additional bidding will be required for urgent repair work, though vendors must provide a written job estimate at no cost to the University before commencing any work. The amendment also clarifies that this bid does not impact any current projects vendors may be working on with CDR.
