About this file
This is an addendum document issued by the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut Purchasing Department for Request for Bid #7963 concerning the procurement of 87 and 89 octane gasoline. The addendum, issued on July 10, 2026, clarifies specifications and requirements for the ongoing bidding process, with a submission deadline of July 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The document addresses three key questions submitted by prospective bidders regarding indemnification provisions, pricing reference standards, and delivery history documentation. The Town confirmed that no modifications will be made to the existing indemnification language in the Terms and Conditions, that the OPIS New Haven Market Average will serve as the pricing reference for both 87 and 89 octane gasoline, and that delivery history data by specific location is unavailable as the Fleet tracks gallons cumulatively rather than by location-specific usage.
All other specifications, terms, and conditions of RFB #7963 remain unchanged from the original solicitation. Vendors must submit physical bids according to the submission procedures outlined in the primary RFB document, as the Town is not accepting electronic bids. Interested parties requiring additional information should contact Daniel Centofanti, Procurement Specialist, at the Town of Greenwich Purchasing Department by telephone at 203-622-7881 or by fax at 203-622-7776.
