About this file
This document is a Request for Grant Applications (RFA) issued by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) for Early Intervention (EI) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) providers. The purpose of this RFA is to select Grantees that can provide EI and ECSE services to the entire designated Service Area, which includes all counties in the state of Oregon. The initial term of each Grant is anticipated to be 2 years, from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, with options to renew up to a maximum of 6 years. Grantees must either provide the services directly or contract with Education Service Districts, school districts, or public University partners to ensure full coverage of all areas.
The RFA outlines specific requirements for Applicants, including the need to describe their plan to ensure services are provided throughout the entire service area and include details of any supporting Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) or agreements. Applicants are not allowed to submit additional pages beyond the required documents, and letters of support are not identified as a requirement. The Grant Applicant should include any costs associated with a contractor in their RFA submission.
