About this file
This document is a Decision Document that provides an overview of the three grant tracks available under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program.
The document outlines the key details and objectives for each grant track: Implementation Grant, Turnkey Grants, and State Agency Grant. It specifies the eligible entities, funding ranges, and focus areas for each track. The Implementation Grant aims to improve access to local foods through comprehensive farm to school programming, while the Turnkey Grants focus on activities such as action planning, edible gardens, and agricultural education. The State Agency Grant is intended to promote agricultural education and increase local food served in eligible Child Nutrition Program sites.
The document also lists common requirements for all grant types, including a 24-month project period, a minimum 25% non-federal funding match, and the requirement to serve Child Nutrition Program participants. Applicants are directed to review the corresponding Request for Applications (RFA) for detailed submission information.
