The project involves repairing approximately 20 linear feet of an existing 8-inch Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) gravity sewer main located at 850 Triangle Road, which will require removing the damaged section and installing a new 8-inch C-900 DR-18 pipe. Key requirements include conducting a pre-construction video, performing a boundary survey, providing traffic control, installing well points for dewatering, maintaining gravity flow during construction, and restoring the site with sod and fencing. Work is restricted to between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, with no weekend or holiday work permitted without written approval from the Utilities Director.

The contractor will receive a lump sum payment upon final County acceptance of the project, and must use only manufacturers and products from the approved list in Appendix A. Inspections will be conducted during the normal work shift of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with any work outside these hours requiring the contractor to pay for inspector overtime. All submittals must be reviewed and approved by Utility Services Engineering and Maintenance Supervisory personnel prior to commencing work, and the contractor must field verify all dimensions.
