About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 25-021 issued by Citrus County, Florida for the Aviation Fuel Farm Replacement project at Crystal River Airport. The addendum extends the bid submittal due date to February 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with electronic bid submittals to be opened via Microsoft Teams at 2:15 PM. The project involves replacing aviation fuel infrastructure, including two 12,000-gallon fuel tanks, sump recovery tanks, pumps, filters, piping, electrical systems, and associated components. Key dates include a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on January 14, 2025, a deadline for questions on January 24, 2025, and potential board approval of the selection and award on March 11, 2025.
The addendum addresses several technical questions from potential bidders, including clarifications on FAA permit requirements, pipe support installation details, and generator specifications. Notable revisions include correcting a note on Drawing M-2 to specify a 12,000-gallon tank capacity instead of the previous 20,000-gallon specification. The generator is classified as an optional stand-by system, and bidders are allowed flexibility in pipe support installation, such as using a single support for multiple parallel pipes. The county reserves the right to award the bid in whole or in part, based on what is deemed most advantageous to the county.
