About this file

This document is a Response to Supplier Questions and Answers for RFX Number DPH0000223, issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) for White Glove Freight Services. The RFX was posted to the internet on June 9, 2023, with a request date of May 30, 2023. The Department seeks to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers to provide white glove freight services, including pickup and delivery of shipments throughout Georgia. All shipments are in-state only, with potential delivery locations across any of Georgia's 159 counties served by the Department's 18 public health district offices. The Department's warehouse is located in Kennesaw, Georgia. Specific delivery locations and special requirements, such as liftgate needs, temperature control, or courier van requests, are provided by the Department when deliveries are scheduled.

The Q&A document clarifies that estimated distances for pricing purposes can be calculated using the 18 public health district offices as reference points from the Kennesaw warehouse. The Department emphasizes that references must be related to services as detailed in the RFX using Attachment F-11, though suppliers are encouraged to provide relevant references even if previous brokers did not specifically market their services as "white glove." No pricing information, set-asides, contract term, or renewal options are detailed in this Q&A response document. Issuing Officer Lynn D. Walker can be contacted at lynn.walker1@dph.ga.gov regarding questions related to the procurement.
