About this file
This notice from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Langley Research Center provides an update on the agency's acquisition strategy for research, science, and engineering services contracts. NASA Langley intends to issue a request for proposal incorporating all such services into two core contract line items, one for research and engineering and one for science. The agency will award either one contract covering both line items or two separate contracts. The solicitation is expected to be released in January 2022 with an award date of January 2023 after an 80-day phase-in period. NASA Langley is seeking industry and academic feedback on its acquisition strategy and recommendations by August 11, 2021, and will host a virtual industry forum on August 18, 2021 to discuss its plans. Eligible businesses are also invited to join the agency's bidders list.
