About this file

The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ-2025-9037) issued by Volusia County Schools in Florida for Administrative Institute Gifts. The RFQ seeks to procure 500 computer backpacks and 500 portable 4-in-1 massage guns, with specific detailed requirements for each item. The computer backpacks must be 14.1" models made of 1680D Nylon with fabric lining, featuring three large zippered compartments, an internal padded laptop sleeve, top padded handle, water bottle mesh pockets, and padded back panel and straps. The massage guns must have a type-C interface, 30W motor operating at 7.4V, adjustable speeds between 1800-3200 RPM, and four massage heads. The RFQ was posted on April 24, 2025, with quotes due on May 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST, and the awarded vendor must deliver the customized items (with a one-color Volusia County Schools imprint) by May 28, 2025.

The award will be based on the most responsive, responsible, and lowest-priced quote, with delivery time potentially factoring into the selection process. Vendors must complete a Drug-Free Workplace Certification and comply with background check requirements for potential school campus access. The RFQ does not specify set-aside designations or incumbent vendors. Proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate coverage is required. The delivery location is 200 North Clara Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720, with specific instructions to deliver to Brewster, 2nd Floor, Room 007, noting there is no receiving dock. The procurement appears to be a one-time purchase with a fixed delivery schedule and specific customization requirements, with the total project value to be determined by the most competitive quote received.
