About this file

This is a Request for Information/Sources Sought issued by the US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) to gather market intelligence for potential drayage distribution services.

IMCOM seeks local drayage distribution services for Government-owned furniture and domestic appliances supporting Army operations in Europe, including Army Family Housing (AFH) and Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH). Services encompass transportation and warehouse augmentation in Government facilities to receive, clean, inventory, and prepare items for re-issue. The RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract. A draft Performance Work Statement is attached for reference. Responses will inform the acquisition strategy, though the final requirements remain subject to change pending formal solicitation. The RFI requests detailed information on company experience with similar work, management capabilities, delivery methods (direct or subcontracted), technical skills, staffing procedures, German certifications (particularly for appliance installation crews), English language proficiency of personnel, inventory tracking and quality control procedures, damage prevention and insurance coverage, short-notice request handling, potential Poland expansion, pricing structures, and geographic area preferences. Service locations include Baumholder, Kaiserslautern, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, Ansbach, Grafenwoehr/Vilseck/Hoenfels, and Garmisch.

Responses must be submitted in PDF format, limited to 10 pages using 12-point Times New Roman font, by 01:30 PM CET on October 14, 2026, to Naziha Djeriouat (naziha.djeriouat.ln@army.mil) and Israel Gutierrez (israel.gutierrez1.civ@army.mil), referencing number W564KV27X0001.
