Additional Information:
Interested Parties are advised of the following information with regards to your participation in the Industry Day. Please ensure you evaluate the following information and advise the points of contact identified below if you have any questions or concerns.
In Person vs. Virtural Attendance – Unless you have provided attendee information and have been vetted through our Security Forces, Interested Parties will not be granted base access. The majority of the information below pertains to parties who will be attending the Base Tour and/or presenting in person. However, please read through all of the material provided herein, and disregard whatever information does not apply to you.
o Teams Only Attendees – This does not apply to Companies/Teams that have identifed in person attendees plus some team members joining via Microsoft Teams call also. The Governments understanding is that those Companies/Teams that will ONLY be presenting via a Microsoft Teams call are NOT going to be attending the Base Tour on either the 23rd or the 24th, unless other arrangements were already made. Therefore, unless such other arrangements were made, it is our understanding that the only interaction we will have with Teams Only attendees will be your 45 minute window for your virtural briefing.
Base Passes – For those who will be attending the Base Tour and/or presenting in person, you will be required to get a base pass at the gate you enter. Base driving directions are provided later in this document. All attendees who will require a Base Pass will be placed on a Visitor List (called a “VAL”). For simplicity on the Governments part, attendees for the 23rd and 24th were placed onto one single VAL list for for both dates. Be advised, the Government requests that you ONLY participate on the date you were assigned. Please do not attend both dates as we have logistical matters that would be impacted if you do.
Base Passes information cont. on next page
REOI # REOI-PZIOB-2024 Amendment-03 Dated 12 July 2024 - Additional Details/Information/Directions Page 2 of 6 o Attendees will NOT be required to stop at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) or Gate Guard Shacks to obtain their Base Pass. You will simply proceed straight to the Guard at the respective gate you will enter and advise them that you are on a VAL. The VAL # will not be known until all background checks are completed at a future time, therefore another notice of the VAL # will be provided to you when known. Again, you will proceed directly to the Gate Guard and advise them your attendees are on the specific VAL (again, information on VAL # forthcoming).
Reminders/Deadlines o Interested Parties who are going to bring Demo Equipment/Materials are reminded of the additional notes contained in the last REOI Amendment-02 posted on SAM.gov previouslly. Be advised it may take longer to get base access depending on how the equipment/materials are transported (unless transported in the vehicle the attendees are traveling within). Note that any time used to show the equipment/material will be counted against the overall 45 minutes (i.e. 30 minutes for Briefing and 15 for Q&As). Please let the POCs identified below know by 4pm PDT on 15 July 2024 what equipment/materials you plan to bring and provide a description.
