| AF IMT 813 SEP 99 CONTINUATION SHEETRow1: Proposed Action: |
168 CE proposes to remove existing florescent fixtures in B1168 and B3128 with equivalent LED lighting, by means of contract. LED lighting is more energy efficient and less costly.
Primary work will include procurement and installation of new LED fixtures in place of existing fixtures. This will be a one-for-one replacement and will be accomplished via contract.
Building wiring will be adjusted to the minimum extent possible to perform the installation. No wiring or conduit changes beyond the nearest junction box to the fixture are anticipated.
BLOCK 18 Continued:
The scope of this Preliminary Environmental Survey is based on the DOPAA as stated in Block 5 and the project is either 1.) Eligible for this CATEX provided that the proponent does not change the scope of the project and follows the instructions listed in the attached remarks pages and any additional instructions, or 2.) Ineligible for a CATEX, in which case either an Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is indicated as required (blocks 17/18). Proponents are also required to abide by all other relevant environmental requirements even if not specifically listed. Please follow up with the relevant SMEs for comment clarification and/or further advice, if necessary.
**This Environmental Impact Analysis (AFF813) expires one year from the date in block 19b. If expired, a new Air Force form 813 will be required to be completed before project may commence.
