About this file

This document is a request for pricing from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) for the purchase of Mixed Gamma Standards, Single Radionuclide Solutions, and other related items. The agency intends to enter into a one-year contract from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 for these products, which will be used to calibrate instrumentation in the agency's Division of Nuclear Safety. The pricing tables include detailed specifications for the various radioactive standard solutions, mixed gamma solid standards, and other requested items. Vendors are asked to provide per unit pricing, vendor part numbers, and shipping costs.

The pricing must be valid for 90 days and include all shipping and handling charges. No price increases will be accepted, and the agency reserves the right to reject any offers, award by item or group, and waive minor defects. All products must be new and carry a minimum one-year warranty. Award will be based on the sum total for all products, and the vendor must agree to partial shipments in case of delays. Fractions of a cent will be rounded to the nearest whole cent, and the vendor shall not bill for any taxes unless accompanied by proof that the state is subject to the tax.

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) intends to enter into a one-year contract (July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020) for the purchase of the Mixed Gamma Standards, Single Radionuclide Solutions and other items listed below. These items will be used by the Agency for calibration of instrumentation used in the agency’s Division of Nuclear Safety.

The resulting contract will establish contract pricing for any orders that may be placed during the contract period. All purchases will be placed as an order against the master contract via a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) or Purchase Order (PO).

Cost should be inclusive of shipping to Springfield, IL and include any other applicable fees, unless noted separately. If shipping is included as a separate line item vendor needs to explain how shipping will be calculated (e.g. – X dollars per item, X dollars per order, etc.). The agency may choose to send the agency shipping number to the entity so there will be no shipping costs added to orders.

All standards demonstrate traceability to NIST.

Please complete the pricing tables and contact information and submit to andrew.wampler1@illinois.gov or fax to (217) 785-9962.
