About this file

This document contains a Question and Answer (Q&A) session for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services/Southern Nevada State Veterans Home (SNSVH) for mobile x-ray and cardiac services. The RFP requests proposals for these services, with the agency seeking clarification on items such as the cost schedule, payor information, and billing practices. Respondents inquired about the lack of CPT codes, exam counts, and limitations on using the Medicare fee schedule, as well as whether SNSVH is the sole payor for all exams or if patients' insurance will be billed.

The RFP indicates that SNSVH pays for VA Service Connected residents and Medicare Part A, while all other payor sources will need to be billed to the resident's Medicare and/or private insurance/Medicaid. The cost schedule provided in the attachments appears to be the key pricing information for respondents to consider when preparing their proposals.

1SALES2020Cost ScheduleThe attached fee schedule contains no CPT codes or Descriptions nor does it contain exam counts to estimate the cost. How can we estimate the cost without that information? Estimated Test counts are important to ensure that we donâ??t underestimate the cost we would propose. Also the Attachment limits providers to a Medicare Fee Schedule which our company doesnâ??t use any longer. No where on the Cost Schedule do I see where an estimate would be available.See current fee schedule in Attachments tab.
