About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 3 for the Regional Transportation Management Center Operations & ITS Information Technology Contract (RTMC). The RFP covers the operations and management of the RTMC, including details on event management, environmental monitoring, desktop/server maintenance, and SLAs for various IT equipment. The RFP has a 20-page limit, with resumes allowed in an appendix and not counted towards the page limit. The current vendor is not utilizing reimbursable services under the existing operations contract.
The RTMC contract is for the state of Florida, with the FDOT District 3 as the procuring agency. Key details include the management of 78,571 events, with 591 classified as Level 3 events and 71 involving RISC activation. The vendor will be evaluated on their response times for RISC activation, with the calculation starting from the moment the RTMC receives the request. The FDOT is currently not monitoring desktop and laptop uptime, and the contract will establish these performance parameters.
