About this file

This document contains questions and clarifications related to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Illinois Secretary of State for the replacement of the fire pump at the State Library in Springfield, Illinois. The IFB requires the contractor to replace the fire pump, fire pump motor, and main fire pump controls, while all other associated components will remain and be tied into the new equipment. The removal and installation of the new equipment will be through the south mechanical room door and will require a crane. The contract does not include replacing the diesel tank, jockey pump, or jockey pump controls.

The pricing terms, funding sources, and any set-asides or incumbents are not explicitly stated in the document. However, it does mention that the new equipment will need to be certified upon completion of the project.
