FULLFILLMENT SERVICES FY27
Question and Answers:
Question
1. What is Payment Bond? And will I need to acquire additional coverage to that of “performance bond?
Answer: Please see amendment #1
Question:
2. The price sheet form that at the bottom it says. *All proposed costs are to be loaded and include all labor, materials and postage cost. In the RFP mentions on page 6 that postage is a pass through. That is how it is with the current contract.
Answer: All postage is at a pass through cost to MHBE based on number of pages (weight) of notice/envelope per exact postage carrier United States Postal Service costs.
3. I noticed on the RFP that companies have to be within the state of Maryland or within 100 miles. Just wanting to confirm that this a requirement for the entire RFP or just certain components? We have facilities in AZ, UT, and CA but we work with companies nationwide.
Answer: All services must be within those guidelines as stated under minimum qualifications.
4. I didn’t see a line item to put the pricing per page for the Medicaid Card Production.
Did you want the Medicare Notices priced per page? I see that it is under price per Packet. On Line 30 it mentions this: “All proposed costs are to be fully loaded and include all labor, materials and postage costs.” In the RFP is mentions that the postage is a pass thru. I just wanted to confirm is Postage a pass through or does the postage need to be added into the per unit cost?
Answer: Medicare notices should be priced per page for printing and postage is a pass through cost. You may factor in “labor and materials” in your pricing calculation.
