About this file

This is a Question and Answer document related to a five-year Dietary Hood Cleaning service contract opportunity in Illinois. The contract requires hood cleaning services to be completed twice per year with no subcontracting allowed. The Dietary Manager will conduct a walk-through with prospective bidders prior to the first cleaning to ensure all requirements are understood. The facility contains approximately 55 filters that will require cleaning as part of the service. Roof access is gained through the boiler room via a roof access hatch, and the duct work has a slight bend with no dedicated access panel, requiring cleaning to be performed from the kitchen side by spraying upward into the ductwork and cleaning the entire hood area. Roof vents are unbolted and cleaned during the service, and power disconnects are located above the boiler room adjacent to the roof access point.

The document does not provide information regarding pricing terms, funding sources, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or other financial details related to this procurement.
