About this file
Attachment H is a Quarterly Maintenance Checklist from the City of Hayward, California, specifically for landscape maintenance services. The document outlines a comprehensive quarterly maintenance program for landscape areas, detailing specific tasks to be performed during each quarter (March, June, September, and December). Key maintenance activities include trash and debris removal, shrub and tree trimming, sign visibility maintenance, turf management, weed and dog feces removal, irrigation system inspection and repair, walkway cleaning, and fencing and masonry wall monitoring.
The checklist requires contractors to document and report various maintenance activities, including listing fertilizer and mulch applications, reporting plant diseases and pest infestations, noting irrigation modifications, and identifying any additional work needed. Contractors must email monthly pesticide reports and a completed maintenance checklist to MSDLandscape@hayward-ca.gov. The document emphasizes regular maintenance tasks such as maintaining tree clearance on pathways and roadways, ensuring proper irrigation programming, and assessing the overall condition of maintained landscape areas.
