DELIVERY SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS – FCI LEAVENWORTH FY 27 QTR 1

This document establishes delivery schedule and acceptance requirements for food service products to Federal Correctional Institution Leavenworth. All products must be delivered within 21 days after receipt of order (ARO) between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm CST, with federal holiday deliveries prohibited. Delivery schedules require pre-arrangement with the receiving warehouse at (913) 682-8700 ext: 1318 and must be approved upon award. All deliveries must be palletized, and delivery schedules will be strictly enforced, with failure to deliver within the established timeframe constituting non-conformance to contract terms.

Temperature and condition requirements are strictly specified: non-frozen perishable foods must arrive between 34°F and 41°F; canned goods must be delivered above 34°F and not frozen; frozen foods must be at 0°F or below with any evidence of prior thawing resulting in refusal. All certified religious diet items must bear the Kosher Symbol on individual packages or be refused. All items will be closely inspected prior to acceptance, with receipt potentially conditional for up to three days to allow for examination and testing. Items failing to meet specifications will be refused and must be picked up at vendor expense within two weeks of noncompliance notification, or they will be disposed of by warehouse staff. Contractor failure to meet delivery schedules without excusable delay and/or failure to conform to contract specifications will negatively impact the contractor's past performance record and may result in disqualification from future awards.
