1. CLIN -043 requires Irrigation System Fall Shut-Down, Spring Start-Up, and Backflow testing. The Statement of Work does not give any specifications for this. How many sprinkler heads are there, how many zones, pump sizes, and an idea of the basic infrastructure. Will the contractor have access to the computer to blow out the water with a compressor, or will this have to be done manually per sprinkler head? What month will the irrigation be turned over to the contractor, etc.?

Answer: All irrigation will still be done in house and not on the contract. Irrigation will have its own separate contract. There is more to just turning it on and off. We cant give over the rights to the irrigation computer.

2. CLINs -019 and -020 give a description of “Plow all Roads”. Are these two CLINs duplicates? If not, please describe the difference.

Answer: No difference, the maps are what will be followed. Those are on the bottom of the SOW.

3. CLIN -039 gives a description of “Treatment of overspray for insecticides and fungicides replacing turf”. Can you please provide some clarification as to what this is and what the specifications are to perform this?

Answer: Treatment of overspray will consist of replacing grass that is burnt out form overspray.

4. For CLIN -042 Soil Sample, what type of analysis is the government looking for? Is it just a typical soil nutrient panel?

Answer: Typical soil nutrient panel.

5. For CLIN -045 Overseeding, what type of seed mix is required?

Answer: Just a high-quality estate mix, 70% bluegrass, 30% rye that’s approved by the COR.
