C. Reporting

The Virginia Department of Fire Programs implemented a statewide Community Risk Reduction (CRR)

Program effective October 10, 2022, with its chosen Partner, InspectionReportsOnline.net (IROL). This solution provides the ability for our office to receive, manage, and track critical data and information regarding fire and life safety system inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) records from service providers throughout the state. IROL’s platform has assisted us in identifying systems needing remediation, providing timely and effective repair guidelines, real-time communication with stakeholders, and the ability to ensure compliance with our codes is being met. The initial release with IROL’s platform was on a preferred/volunteer basis, however, due to the proven processes and in continuing to rely on our collaboration with both service providers and other local fire departments, the state will be increasing its code enforcement efforts regarding the use of IROL. Our updated IROL requirements, including the submissions of NEW systems, will go into effect February 1, 2024. UPDATED: ITM submissions will be required for all state owned and governed facilities. Systems to be submitted:
