About this file

This Quality Assurance Provisions document dated 13 Aug 2020 specifies inspection requirements for a Hook, Cargo Net (Part Number 6020). The document outlines a comprehensive quality control process involving First Article Inspection (FAI) and Conformance Inspection, which includes material and process certification review, visual and dimensional examinations, and end item testing. The FAI and subsequent inspections have strict acceptance criteria, with any material specification deviations, visual defects, or dimensional tolerances outside of drawing 6020 requirements resulting in automatic rejection. The detailed inspection process uses ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling standards and includes a detailed Table I that classifies potential nonconformities as major or minor across categories such as materials, heat treatment, finish, construction, workmanship, and marking.
