SECTION C.11 – GUARANTEED MINIMUM QUANTITY
Change from:
C.11 GUARANTEED MINIMUM QUANTITY
The minimum quantity of supplies that the Government guarantees to order during the period of this contract is quantity of one (1) unit. If at the end of the contract period (base period with four one-month options to renew) the vendor has not received an order, upon request the Government will pay the contractor the dollar amount of the lowest current model year base vehicle that was awarded under contract.
| (a) | Request for payment of any amount due under this clause shall be submitted, in writing, to the Contracting Officer within 30 days after the end of the contract period. |
| (b) | The guaranteed minimum does not apply if the contract is terminated for cause or if the Contractor has not performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. |
Change to:
C.11 GUARANTEED MINIMUM QUANTITY
In accordance with FAR 16.504(a), the quantity limits may be expressed as number of units or as dollar values. The minimum quantity of supplies that the Government guarantees to order during the period of this contract is 10% of the lowest line item contract price, or $10,000, whichever is lowest. If at the end of the contract period (base period with four one-month options to renew) the vendor has not received an order, upon request the Government will pay the contractor the guaranteed minimum dollar value. The minimum quantity dollar value is for the entire contract inclusive of options, and not for each line item awarded. No minimum quantity of units is guaranteed.
