About this file
The document is a question and answer document related to a Request for Applications (RFA) issued by the Washington State Department of Commerce for the Low-Income Home Rehabilitation Grant Program. The grant provides funding to low-income households located in rural "non-entitlement" areas to address health, safety, and durability issues in existing housing. The RFA outlines the requirements for program support versus project allocation costs, the availability of a recorded webinar, the project completion deadline, prevailing wage requirements, application submission requirements, and eligibility of manufactured homes. The grant opportunity covers multiple counties and communities across the state of Washington.
The RFA specifies the documentation required for the application, which includes certifications, applicant information, a diverse business inclusion plan, and a workers' rights certification. Applicants are not required to have properties already identified. The grant provides funding to address rehabilitation needs for low-income households in rural areas, with a focus on health, safety, and durability issues in existing housing.
