About this file
This document is a quotation from Hefring Inc. to the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), specifically for Kevin Martin, detailing a purchase of Li batteries for an OceanScout glider system. The quote (Q2503101) is dated 3/5/25 and covers three sets of Li batteries (1400 Wh) at $4,000 per set, with a total product cost of $12,000, and an additional $1,500 for estimated shipping and insurance, bringing the grand total to $13,500. The delivery time is specified as 10 weeks after receipt of written order.
The quotation includes critical export restrictions noting that the OceanScout glider and WB-92 hydrophone are subject to "dual-use" control list regulations. Shipments to NATO and EU countries are license-free, but exports to other regions will require a license, which could take up to 10 weeks to approve. Payment terms are structured as 50% due 14 days before shipping and the remaining 50% net 30 from dispatch, with late payment fees of 0.75% per month. The quote is valid for 120 days and includes provisions for cancellation fees of 25% for orders cancelled less than 3 weeks before the planned shipping date.
